LIGHTING CONTROLLER OF VENDING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of the lighting controller of a vending machine without missing the chance to vend an article. SOLUTION: The lighting controller of the vending machine drives a fluorescent lamp by an inverter device; and the maximum illuminance of the fluorescent lamp 6 is set according to the ambient lightness of the vending machine and past vending data and the illuminance of the fluorescent lamp 6 is set with in the range of the maximum illuminance. The fluorescent lamp 6 is brought under illumination control according to illuminance set on the basis of how many human bodies are detected and how many articles are vended at specific intervals of time.
