<p>The trellis-work component, made from extruded metal, comnsists of at least two parallel lengthwise tubes (2) with reinforced lengthwise grooves to receive the ends of spacers (6, 8) connecting the tubes together. The inner ends (10) of the spacers are separated by rods (12) of the required length, inserted into the grooves, while threaded plugs (14) in the groove ends prevent any lengthwise movement of the rods or spacers. Separate trellis-work components are joined together end to end by plates with interlocking lugs and bolts.</p> |
