BRAILLE FORMING METHOD, AND BRAILLE COATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of forming well-shaped Braille without need of imparting thixotropy to high viscosity material.

SOLUTION: In a Braille forming method, liquid material is dropped and coated on a workpiece while relatively moving a discharge device and the workpiece to form Braille. Here, the discharge device includes: a liquid chamber communicated with a flow passage in a nozzle and supplied with the liquid material; and a piston having an advancement position for closing an inlet of the flow passage in the nozzle and a retreat position. The Braille forming method includes a Braille forming process for forming one point composing Braille on the workpiece by 1-10 pieces of droplets discharged from a discharge port of a nozzle of the discharge device. The Braille coating device can perform the method.
