KEY PAD ASSEMBLY FOR MOBILE COMMUNICATION APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A key pad assembly for a mobile communication apparatus is provided to prevent a foreign substance such as dust from attaching to the key pad assembly, when the key pad assembly generates a signal by being contacted with contact patterns of a substrate while a button of a cellular phone is pressed, so as to prevent a wrong operation of a connector and to previously preserve the gold-plated contact patterns from decay. CONSTITUTION: A PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(10) forms contact patterns(12). Many contact units(20) are attached to the first sheet(30), to be contacted with the contact patterns(12) on the PCB(10). The contact units(20) are set in the second sheet(40), by being bonded between the first sheet(30) and the PCB(10). At least more than one air vent units(50) are formed on the second sheet(40), to perform air vent operations for elastic operations of the contact units(20). The second sheet(40) insulates circuit patterns of the PCB(10) and the contact units(20). The contact units(20) are dome-typed plates.
