摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode imparting a practically usable current-voltage curve in relation to an organic pigment-sensitized porous oxide semiconductor electrode and to provide a solar cell including it. SOLUTION: This electrode is formed by adsorbing an organic pigment on the surface of a porous oxide semiconductor and characterized as the organic pigment being a compound expressed by the formula. In the formula, ring A and ring B each represents a nitrogen-containing five-membered or six-membered ring that may have a substituted or unsubstituted condensed ring; X1 and X2 each represents an oxygen atom or a hetero atom; Y1 and Y2 each represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; R1 and R2 each represents an alkyl group that may have an anchor group or a 16C or more substituted group, one of them is an anchor group, the other is a hydrocarbon group; R3 and R4 each represents a hydrogen or a halogen atom, or a substituted group of which bonding atom is a carbon atom or a hetero atom; R3 and R4 may form a five- membered or six-membered ring by being bonded to each other; (m) represents an integer of 0-2; and (p) represents a number of 0 or 1.
