PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light source device capable of coloring a color picture including even white color and using compact semiconductor light emitting elements. SOLUTION: Lighting times per a cycle of semiconductor light sources 6, 7, 8 in which LEDs are used and which are respective primary colors are made to be changed. Since the difference of the emission intensity of respective semiconductor light sources can be adjusted so that the emission intensity of the light sources become uniform as color stimuli to be sensed by visual sensation, the light source device can be designed by giving priority to factors such as arrangement, cost over the balance of the emission intensity of a semiconductor light source and, thus, the semiconductor light source compact in size and low in cost is obtained. |
