PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve abrasion resistance of a vane and a roller at low cost even in case of using an HFCs refrigerant not including chlorine and poor in abrasion resistance characteristics. SOLUTION: This rotary compressor is furnished with a crankshaft 15 having a bearing part and an eccentric part, a cylinder, a vane 13 having an R shape head end, a compression mechanism part having a roller 14 to eccentrically revolve and to autorotate in the cylinder, an electric motor part to drive the compression mechanism part and a closed container to store the compression mechanism part and a driving part, and a thin structure part 18 is formed on a head end part of the vane 13 by providing a hollow hole 17 on the inside of the head end part of the vane 13.
