PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a chromium-free high corrosion resistance surface treated film. SOLUTION: In this high corrosion resistance surface treated metallic material coated with a thin film organic resin, an Mg-contg. compd. is dispersedly incorporated into the surface of a plate steel sheet or a metallic sheet. Desirably, an Mg compd. coated with metallic oxide is dispersedly incorporated into the surface of the metallic plated steel sheet or metallic sheet, or the Mg-contg. compd. and a phosphoric compd. are mixedly dispersed and incorporated into the surface of the metallic plated steel sheet or metallic sheet, or the Mg compd. coated with metallic oxide and the phosphoric compd. are mixedly dispersed and incorporated into the surface of the metallic plated steel sheet or metallic sheet, and a metallic oxide colloid is moreover incorporated into the thin film organic resin.
