PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an exposure device using a digital micromirror device which is capable of preventing the occurrence of a color clouding by noise light and enhancing the color reproducibility of a printed image even when photographic paper having ordinary photosensitive characteristics is subjected to exposing and printing. SOLUTION: An exposure processing section 2 of a digital printing device using the digital micromirror device 10 is constituted by arranging a color wheel 9, an integrator rod 24 and two condenser lenses 22 and 23 in an optical path between a light source lamp 8 and the digital micromirror device 10. In the color wheel 9, the light transmission wavelength regions of respective color filters are so set as not to overlap on the photosensitive wavelength regions of the photographic paper 7 to the color light exclusive of the color light transmitted by these color filters within the exposure range below the upper limit exposure light quantity. As a result, the occurrence of a noise light or a color clouding is prevented and the color reproducibility of the printed image is enhanced.
