<p>A process is described to enable the successful transfection of cells with lipid complexes in the presence of serum. The process involves subjecting a lipid complex to one or more freeze/thaw cycles and then bringing the freeze/thawed material into contact with cells either ex vivo or in vivo. The lipid complex may be any anionic, cationic or neutral lipid complexed with one or more other bioactive materials such as nucleic acids.</p> |
