PURPOSE: A mushroom extract showing platelet-dissolving ability is provided, which contains platelet-dissolving enzyme, therefore being used in a medicine for platelet-related disease and a health food. CONSTITUTION: A process for the preparation of mushroom extract showing platelet-dissolving ability comprises the steps of: soaking 50 kinds of Korean mushrooms in 80% methanol for 1 month at room temperature, and filtering the extract; concentrating the filtered solution under decompression, powdering, and suspending in methanol; refiltering and concentrating the filtered solution; preparing fibrin plate, and injecting mushroom extract to measure activity(Coriolus versicolor, Pisolithus tinctorius, Tricholomopsis decora shows platelet-dissolving activity); centrifuging the Coriolus versicolor, Pisolithus tinctorius, Tricholomopsis decora extract, and treating the supernatant with ammonium sulfate; processing DEAE-Sephacel column to separate and refine novel enzyme protein; and processing SDS-PAGE electophoresis to confirm the fact that the enzyme protein is separated and refined.
