PURPOSE: A structure for supporting a mirror of an optical scanning unit is provided to stably perform the position adjustment of the mirror, thereby preventing the breakage of the mirror. CONSTITUTION: A mirror(M) for reflecting a light is fixed at a holder plate(100). The holder plate(100) is fastened to a fixed bracket(200) mounted in an optical scanning unit. Since a fastening screw(210) penetrating a center portion of the fixed bracket is fastened in a groove of the holder plate(100), holder plate(100) and the fixed bracket are connected to each other. A washer(230) is fastened to a head of the fastening screw, and a spring(220) is installed between the washer and the fixed bracket. An end of an adjustment screw(300) contacts with the holder plate(100). The holder plate(100) is supported at the fixed bracket by the power balance between the fastening screw, the spring, and the adjustment screw. An angle of the mirror is adjusted by releasing or fastening the adjustment screw in the course of the assembly. The angle of the mirror is adjusted by rotating the adjustment screw, and adjusting the compression force of the holder plate(100) after the assembly being finished.
