<p>An apparatus for securing a tag (10) to a pair of eyeglasses (30) is disclosed. The apparatus includes a tag (10) having a body (12) and at least one prong (14, 16) extending longitudinally across the body (12) so as to define an aperture (18) between the body (12) and the at least one prong (14, 16) and a tube (40) constructed from a material which shrinks when subjected to heat. The prong (14, 16) and the temple piece (36) are disposed within the tube (40) and the tube (40) is subjected to heat, thereby shrinking the tube (40) to secure the prong (14, 16) to the temple piece (36) of the eyeglasses (30).</p> |
