PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for classifying in a good manner even a fed raw material is constituted of fine-sized particles. SOLUTION: A separator 1 is provided with a dispersion plate 3 set on the upper section in an outer hopper 2 whereon classifying air is introduced from below and dispersing granules fed from the upper section, an intermediate hopper 4 disposed below the dispersion plate 3 and an inner hopper 5 formed in the intermediate hopper 4, and air fed into the outer hopper 2 is exhausted successively through the intermediate hopper 4 and the inner hopper 5 and granules are classified in compliance with the particle diameters, and the upper section peripheral face of the intermediate hopper 4 is divided to form a number of intermediate classifying blades 6 suspended and connected integrally with the outer peripheral lower section of the dispersion plate 3.
