PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a woven fabric having lenolike textile weaves in which specific positions of weft yarns are changed and crossed and intertwisted and capable of forming the leno which cannot be expressed with weft yarns by a usually used loom. SOLUTION: This woven fabric having lenolike textile weaves is obtained by changing vertical positions of pairs of weft yarns 3, 4, 6 and 7 for each warp yarn 2 in ground textile weaves, crossing and intertwisting the weft yarns therewith. Furthermore, the resultant woven fabric preferably has lenolike textile weaves in which a leno texture is formed among the lenolike textile weaves prepared by changing the vertical positions of the pairs of the weft yarns 3, 4, 6 and 7 for each weft yarn 2, crossing and intertwisting the weft yarns 3, 4, 6 and 7 therewith. The ground textile weaves are preferably selected from a plain weave, a twill weave and a satin weave. The lenolike textile weaves are preferably formed by changing the vertical positions of the pairs of the weft yarns 3, 4, 6 and 7 for each warp yarn 2 of the ground textile weaves, crossing and intertwisting the weft yarns 3, 4, 6 and 7 therewith among the ground textile weaves.
