PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity by efficiently carrying out work to connect a terminal end part of a band type base material of an old material and a winding out starting end part of a band type base material of a new material to each other in a short period of time at the time of the change-over work of a bobbin on an unwinding machine. SOLUTION: A new base material sheet S2 is connected to an old base material sheet S1, and a connecting part of a cutting end part of the old base material sheet S1 and an unwinding starting end part of the new base material sheet S2 is stitched and the both base material sheets S1, S2 are connected to each other, in a state of cutting the old base material sheet S1 stopped moving at the time of bobbin change-over work by a cutter 45 and positioning an end edge position in the cross direction of the old base material sheet S1 and an end edge position in the cross direction of the unwinding starting end part of the new base material sheet S2 by moving the whole of an unwinding machine in the cross direction of the base material sheets. |
