PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive to miniaturize an apparatus in a waste heat combined use boiler of an energy conservation type utilizing waste gas exhausted from an engine or the like. SOLUTION: A face flame burner 10 for which a long combustion chamber is not required and an exhaust gas chamber 14 capable of receiving exhaust gas produced from an engine or the like are provided on the front of a heating chamber 1 in which a number of liquid tubes 4 are installed vertically. Only when an amount of heat of the exhaust gas for supplying the exhaust gas from the exhaust gas chamber 14 to the heating chamber 1 is short, the face flame burner 10 is ignited to heat an absorption liquid 16 and generate refrigerant vapor.
