PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To steplessly set and lock the reclining position of a seat. SOLUTION: The reclining structure of a seat is provided with a cylindrical nut member 5 screwed in the front end of a spiral rod 4 in the seat bottom, a lock cam 7 provided with a cam surface opposing to the outer circumferential surface of the nut member 5 in a prescribed clearance therebetween, and a lock roller 8 extendedly arranged in the axial direction of the nut member 5. The cam surface of the lock cam 7 has a shape that frees the lock roller 8 in the position of unlock, and is formed in a circular shape in the direction perpendicular to the turning direction in the position of lock so that the outer circumferential surface of the nut member 5 is pressed by the lock roller 8 and both ends thereof are set to have a larger radius of curvature than the outer circumferential surface thereof.
