<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for concentrating oxygen gas, by which the concentrated oxygen gas can independently and freely be produced in a desired oxygen gas concentration and at a desired oxygen gas flow rate and further by which electric power saving corresponding to desired oxygen gas producing conditions (concentration×flow rate) can be achieved on electric power consumption for producing the oxygen gas. SOLUTION: A rate for supplying compressed air of raw material per unit time, namely a rate for driving an air compressor, is automatically controlled so that the concentration of the oxygen gas is a desired constant value, and the switching pressures of adsorption towers A, B are compared with each other and controlled in response to desired oxygen gas production conditions (concentration×flow rate). When the oxygen gas is concentrated from high pressure air, a time for increasing an operation pressure in the adsorption towers to a set pressure is preferably used as a unit cycle for the concentration operation.</p> |
