DATA STORING METHOD, SYSTEM THEREFOR AND RECORDING MEDIUM FOR DATA STORAGE PROCESSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the furtive looking of data stored in a storage device with no troublesome operations of a user required by enciphering automatically the data with a writing request and then decoding automatically the enciphered data to transfer them to an application program with a reading request. SOLUTION: This system consists of a terminal 101 which is operated by a user 123, a storage device 111 which is connected to the terminal 101, a key management server (key management computer) 112 which manages a key for enciphering the data, a key data base 121 which stores an enciphering key and a network 122 which connects the terminal 101 to the server 112. When a data writing request is given from an application program 106, the data are automatically enciphered and stored in the storage device 111. Meanwhile, the enciphered data stored in the storage device 111 are automatically decoded and sent to the program 106 when a reading request is given from the program 106.
