<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medicinal alcoholic beverage mainly composed of an active ingredient included in seeds of jewelweed. SOLUTION: This medicinal alcoholic beverage is obtained by soaking entire plants, flower petals and roots of jewelweed collected in the full bloom season and dried in the shade in a mixed solution of water and pyroligneous acid, drying the entire plants, flower panels and roots after the soaking, spraying an alcohol solution having alcohol content of >=35 proof to the entire plants, flower petals and roots after the drying, soaking the entire plants, flower petals and roots in an alcohol solution having alcohol content of >=25 proof until the color of the alcohol changes into amber-color, taking out the entire plants and flower petals, soaking the roots for further two or more months, maturing the alcohol solution for one or more years, and then mixing the alcohol solution with an alcohol solution obtained by soaking seeds of jewelweed in an alcohol solution having alcohol content of >=25 proof for one or more years, taking off the seeds and then maturing the mixed solution for one or more years.</p> |
