In the error information addition part 44, the arithmetic result and a CRC code added to the video packet are compared and whether or not they match is judged. Then, when a judged result is generated, the error information addition part 44 adds the judged result to the video packet 100 as error information and outputs it through a buffer 7c to a video decoder 5 as a new video packet 110.</p>
