PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject apparatus constituted so as to accurately control the temp. of a decorating sheet to a proper value regardless of an environmental condition to prevent the generation of trouble such as a rupture or wrinkles. SOLUTION: Temp. sensors 51-54 for directly detecting the surface temp. of a decorating sheet S are provided and, in order to set the surface temps. of the respective parts of the decorating sheet S to target temps. on the basis of the detection sigals obtained from those sensors, the power feed quantities and heating temps. of the surface heating elements 41-44 of a hot platen 40 are increased and decreased by feedback control.
