PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly print without void on a printed product, to satisfactorily stably coat and to further incorporate a secret leakage preventing function in the case of forming an intermediate layer, a colored layer on a base material film. SOLUTION: The thermal transfer film comprises a colored layer provided on a base material film through an intermediate layer. In this case, the intermediate layer contains a polycaprolactone resin having a melt viscosity of 100 to 1,000 mPa.s at 75 deg.C and a binder resin having an extrapolation melting starting temperature of 130 to 400 deg.C. Thus, even when a site applied by an energy of the intermediate layer is cooled to a certain degree for a period from printing to releasing, it is the state that an interface to the colored layer is melted by supercooling of a polycaprolactone resin and the low viscosity state, the colored layer is released from the film by a low releasing force, transferred to a sheet to be transferred, and hence a good printed product having a few voids is obtained by antique paper. |
