COLLECTION DEVICE FOR SPILLED OIL ON WATER SURFACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collection device of spilled oil on the water surface capable of being more efficiency used with less labor in comparison with a conventional method for scooping the spilled oil with a ladle. SOLUTION: A collection device of spilled oil on the water is equipped with an oil gathering section 1 gradually narrowing the capacity in an interior space (a) thereof upward from below the oil gathering section like a funnel placing the bottom upward or a semi-spherical shell body and having a form providing an overflowing outlet 3 of the oil to the upper end thereof to push it against the water surface suspending oil thereon and an oil sump forming section 2 continuously provided to the circumferential edge of the lower end to form an oil sump (b) receiving oil flowing out from the overflowing outlet 3. Handles 5 and 6 can be provided to the upper edge of the oil sump forming section 2.
