COOLING FAN CONTROL APPARATUS FOR GAS OVEN RANGE

PURPOSE: A cooling fan control apparatus for gas oven range is provided to prevent an erroneous operation of or damage to electric components of the oven range by lowering the temperature of the range during cooking operation. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a power input terminal(10) for inputting power into a gas oven range; a thermostat(19) connected to the power input terminal and which senses the temperature of the interior of the gas oven range, is turned on when the sensed temperature is higher than a predetermined level, and forms a passage for current; a cooling fan(16) connected in serial to the thermostat and which is driven by the power supplied during "on" operation of the thermostat and blows wind into the gas oven range; a burner for generating fire power; an ignition device(23) for initial ignition of the burner; and a switch(21) for supplying the power being input from the power input terminal to the ignition device during the initial operation of the burner, and thereafter supplying the input power to the thermostat. The cooling fan serves to prevent the internal components from being overheated.
