PURPOSE: A discharging circuit of a plasma display panel is provided which drives a fan with charges charged in a capacitor when power is turned off to discharge the charges. CONSTITUTION: In a discharging circuit for a power supply having multiple high-voltage power supply circuits that generate high voltage required for plasma discharge in a plasma display panel and a power supply circuit for generating fan voltage for driving a fan(310) of the display panel, a plurality of capacitors(C1,C2,C3) are connected to the output ports of the high-voltage power supply circuits. A control signal generator generates the first control signal for enabling the high-voltage power supply circuits when power is turned on. A switching circuit supplies charges charged in the capacitors to the power supply circuit for providing the fan voltage when the power is turned off in response to the first control signal generated by the control signal generator. |
