PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easily recordable data regarding a music to a hard disk when the digital audio data of the music are copied to the hard disk from a CD. SOLUTION: When the digital audio data reproduced from the CD are transferred to the hard disk for recording, such discrimination is made (step 103) whether the data regarding the music are written into the CD or not. When the data regarding the music are written, the data regarding this music are recorded on the hard disk (step 112). In the case that the data regarding the music have not been written, the data regarding this music are obtained from the outside in accordance with the information specifying the CD inputted through an operation part and recorded on the hard disk (step 125).
