<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source control system for computer system capable of realizing efficient reduction of the power consumption. SOLUTION: This power source control system 10 for controlling the power source of a computer system is provided with a facial picture judging part 200 which extracts a facial picture by analyzing a picture photographed by a CCD camera 140, and judges whether or not the computer system is being used according to whether or not the presence or absence of a user and the direction of the face and eyes of the user are directed to a display screen and a power source controlling part 300 which controls the power source of the computer system for turning the power source into a suspend state or a resume state when the computer system is in an unavailable state, and for releasing the suspend state or resume state of the power source when the computer system is being used.</p> |
