<p>The invention concerns a connector for an osteosynthesis system designed to link two rods of a spinal osteosynthesis system, consisting of a hook adapted to be mounted sliding on the end of a transverse rigid bar, said hook being provided with means for being locked on the bar. The invention is characterised in that the hook body has a semi-cylindrical housing (9) oriented substantially along a first axis (20) for receiving a rod (4) with circular cross-section, a second housing (11) having an axis (21) substantially perpendicular to the first axis (20), said housing (11) emerging in the semi-cylindrical housing (9) and designed to receive the substantially spherical end (3) of a transverse rod (2), and a third bore (22) emerging in the second housing (11) and having a thread for receiving a clamping screw (7) urged to exert pressure on the spherical end (3) of the transverse rod, said spherical end being urged to be supported on the cylindrical rod (4).</p> |
