PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high quality film stable for a long time by preventing the generation of coating spots due to bubbles at the time of providing a coating film on the film. SOLUTION: The coating film is provided on the travelling plastic film by using an applicator roll 2 rotating opposed to the travelling direction of the film. In such a case, the generated bubbles are moved to the roll 2 end and broken by using the applicator roll 2, on which a gravure cell 3 is engraved only on both coating end part.
