PURPOSE: A seat latch apparatus of a vehicle is provided to prevent noise and the dead point by reducing the contact area between a latch and a glove, and to improve endurance and reliability by engaging the latch with the glove firmly. CONSTITUTION: A seat latch device for a vehicle is composed of a latch(4) having a fitting part(10) bent and protruded for constraining a striker(8), and counterclockwise rotational force; a glove(5) having counterclockwise rotational force, and a fitting part(12) contacted to the fitting part of the latch and bent; and a lever(6) pulling up the end of the glove in a lever fixing bracket(3). The latch is combined with a latch fixing bracket(2) by a hinge, and the glove is installed in the latch fixing bracket. The fitting part of the latch is fitted to the fitting part of the glove with turning in pushing the opposite of the fitting part of the latch by the striker. Noise and the dead point are prevented with reducing the contact area by engaging the latch with the glove firmly.
