METHOD OF REGENERATING HYDROGENATION CATALYST

Provided is a method of regenerating used hydrogenation catalysts, which comprises calcining used hydrogenation catalysts, followed by subjecting them to treatment for removing metallic deposits from them. For the treatment, for example, the calcined catalysts are washed with water. The method is effective for recycling catalysts having been used for hydrogenation of hydrocarbon oils.
