Using a wound spray comprising a 0.03-10, preferably 0.3-2.0 % aqueous or alcoholic solution of NGF-SP (a natural plant extract obtained from grapefruit flesh or seeds) as a treatment and additive for application to a wound dressing or gauze, is new. An Independent claim is included for the preparation of a moist cloth, impregnated with the active agent NGF-SP, for the disinfection of small wounds and/or the surrounding skin.
