<p>An injectable composition is provided for promoting bone and/or cartilage growth comprising hyaluronic acid cross-linked to sulfated polysaccharide through linking groups. The linking groups are diamines or amino polyalkylene glycols. The sulfated polysaccharide binds growth factors suitable for promoting tissue growth at the site of application of the composition.</p>
