PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pull out a steel sheet pile and earth retaining panel smoothly and surely even in a small space. SOLUTION: A traction type gate shape jack is constituted by props 10, 20 and beam 21 and engagingly locking parts 22, 23 for engagingly locking the ropes for hanging up a work are provided on the beam 21. A first prop is connected to a vehicle by a traction member 15 and moved to an arbitrary place in the jack up work spot and the work is hung up by jacking up by means of a drive means 25.
