PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject coating composition for antifouling articles that shows excellent storage stability and has excellent antifouling functions due to its excellent water repellency and oil repellency without deterioration in adhesion and resistance to alkali and organic chemicals by using a specific organosilane component and a specific silyl group-bearing fluorine polymer. SOLUTION: This antifouling coating composition comprises (A) at least one selected from an organosilane represented by the formula: (R1)nSi(OR2)4-n (R1 is a 1-8C monovalent organic group; R2 is a 1-5C alkyl or the like; (n) is 0-2), its hydrolyzate and its condensate, and (B) at least one selected from a polymer that has the constitution unit of formula I and/or formula II (R3-R5 are each a group: CmY2m+1; (m) is 0-5; Y is F or the like; Rf is a fluorine- containing alkyl or the like) and bears a silyl group linking to a hydrolyzable group and/or to a hydroxyl group. The component B is prepared by polymerizing hexafluoro-propylene, vinyltrimthoxysilane and the like.
