PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit high current intensity and minimize heating of a contact material and a fixing material by covering and fitting a sleeve having a distance in the radius direction to a fixing section on the fixing section of a member. SOLUTION: A pin contactor 1 of a contact member is comprised of a contact section 4, a fixing section 5, and a conductor connecting part 6. A sleeve is positioned on the tubular fixing section 5 having a hole 7. A spring tongue piece of the sleeve is engaged at a hook-shaped end faced inward and not turned within the hole 7. The contact section 4 formed with a circular arc-shaped contact tongue piece 9 is installed through a narrow part 8 continuing to the fixing part 5. Since the diameter of the contact section 4 is smaller than that of the fixing section 5, pushing in a contact section of a bush contactor is made possible. By the distance in the radius direction of the sleeve covered and fitted on the fixing section 5, air is always circulated through the central chambers of the pin contactor 1 and the bush contactor, heat is radiated, and heat caused by heavy current is absorbed. The contact member is suitable as that of an automobile.
