PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vibration wave-drive device that reduces vibration leakage, can firmly fix a vibration body to a fixing part for supporting, and prevents the size from becoming larger. SOLUTION: Piezoelectric elements 3a and 3b are pinched between a pair of elastic bodies 4a and 4b, coaxially arranged around an output shaft 9 of an axis center part for fixing, an alternate signal is applied to the piezoelectric elements 3a and 3b for exciting torsion vibration, where a phase is reversed at the inner-and outer-periphery sides of the opposite part of the elastic bodies 4a and 4b, vibration bodies 1a to 1c where elliptic movement in that the phase is reversed is formed at the opposite part of the pair of elastic bodies 4a and 4b, rotors 2a to 2d that are fixed to the output shaft 9 which is pressed and brought into contact with the elastic 4a and 4b via a press means 10, and a fixing member 19 that support the vibration bodies 1a to 1c being provided outside the vibration bodies 1a to 1c are provided, and the outer-periphery part of a support member 6 that is provided at a center part in an axis direction of the vibration bodies 1a to 1c is fixed to the fixing member 19. |
