The invention relates to a fingerprint input device (FAD), comprising a print sensor (PSE) which has a bearing area (AFL) for a finger pad on the surface of an object (MAU). The print sensor (PSE) is connected to an evaluation unit (AWE). At least one light source (LE1, LE2) is provided, said light source being activated from the evaluation device-side (AWE) and being embodied so as to emit light for a user in the area of the bearing area (AFL). The evaluation device (AWE) is configured to activate the at least one light source in different states according to the respective evaluation state. The invention also relates to a computer mouse comprising such a fingerprint input device. |
