<p>The invention relates to a jacquard shadow velour comprising binding warp threads, tension warp threads, differently colored weft threads, pile naps in an m/n W-pile through weave (with n>m and m>2 and n>5) and lying colored pile areas. In lying pile areas, at least first groups of at least three weft threads are surrounded by one of the pile naps. In the lying pile areas, further at least second groups of at least three weft threads are surrounded by one of the pile naps. Each second group comprises at least one weft thread which is also comprised by a first group, as well as at least one weft thread which is not comprised by this first group. Each first group comprises at least one weft thread which is also comprised by a second group, as well as at least one weft thread which is not comprised by this second group.</p> |
