PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase in the viscosity of a resin liquid to be recovered by arranging a tightly closed resin liquid dam in the base material introducing side between a backup roll and a metering roll and placing the tip part of a doctor roll in contact with the metering roll on the bottom of the resin liquid dam. SOLUTION: The back up roll 1 and the metering roll 2 rotated in the opposite direction are arranged to keep a minute interval and the resin liquid 5 is supplied on the base material 10 travelling on the back up roll 1. The tightly closed resin liquid dam 11 is arranged in the base material introducing side between the back up roll 1 and the metering roll 2 with the supply of the resin liquid 5 and the tip part of the doctor roll 13 in contact with the metering roll 2 is placed on the bottom of the rein liquid dam 11. As a result, increase in the viscosity of the resin liquid 5 is prevented to make the coating film thin while keeping the mirror surface.
