PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance strength against bending moment at the time when an overload is applied onto an upper rail of a seat slide device, and reduce the weight of the seat slide device. SOLUTION: This seat is provided to move to be positioned all the time in a middle point in a space of supporting points varying with a slide position, between front and rear rollers 59a inserted between a lower rail 52 and an upper rail 55 of a seat slide device, and is provided to contact-support the upper rail 55 and the lower rail 52 via a central support member which does not obstruct the movement of the front and rear rollers 59a.
