The welding vehicle (1) has a frame for receiving a welding apparatus. A mobile undercarriage supports the frame with a driver accommodated in the frame. The undercarriage is steerable and has three wheels (4) one of which is steerable, the other two are non steerable and are mutually connected with the interposition of a differential. The non steerable wheels are drivably connected to the driver, which comprises a motor connected for driving the differential. The driver has an individual drive motor for each non steerable wheel and the motors can each be connected controllably to an electronic differential circuit.
