PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an assembling procedure by minimizing the number of members and to reduce the size and cost of the ultrasonic microphone. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic microphone A comprises a cylindrical vibration case 1 having a space part 2 in its inside and opened on the rear part B, a piezoelectric oscillation element 3 fitted to the inner front part 1a of the case 1, a lead wire 4 for applying ultrasonic vibration driving voltage between the case 1 and the element 3, and a circuit part 6 provided with at least one of a transmitting circuit 15 for transmitting the ultrasonic vibration driving voltage and a receiving circuit 16 for amplifying a received signal. The circuit part 6 is arranged in the space part 2 so as not to be brought into contact with the inner surface 1b of the case 1 and fixed on a cover part 7 arranged on the rear 8 aperture side of the case 1. The space part 2 in which the circuit part 6 is arranged is filled with a cushioning material 5.
