The procedure entails clamping of the inner piping's outer layer(4) in the main pipe, the placing of the inner layer(6) on an auxiliary carriage, introducing the auxiliary carriage with the inner layer into the pipe, introducing filling material in the space(8) between the inner layer and outer layer, and withdrawal of the auxiliary carriage from the pipe after the material has hardened. The filling material is a liquid concrete or self-hardening plastic. An Independent claim is included for an auxiliary carriage to assist in the proposed procedure.
