PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating plant for coating a strip-like material with a cover material. SOLUTION: The strip-like material 10 to be subjected to the coating is guided into a coating bath 2 and is passed between to coating rolls 3 and 4 partially immersed into the coating bath. The strip-like material is then emerged from the coating bath and is passed between stripping nozzles 12 and 13. Bearings 5 and 6 of the coating rolls are arranged on the outer side of the coating bath 2. The strip-like material 10 is preferably guided into the coating bath 2 by at least one deflection roll 8, at least one of which is arranged on the outer side of the coating bath 2.
