PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a screw part and a revolving tool from being damaged by resolving bite between the fastening bit of a revolving tool in an automatic fastening device capable of handling great fastening torque and the crew part, and also prevent workability from being degraded. SOLUTION: A receiving table 2 on which a product is placed, is made to be rotated so as to be rested over a base 1, the product 4 is so rested that a fastening bit 6a agrees with the rotation center of the receiving table 2, the receiving table 2 is energized by a spring 7 to the rotational direction of the fastening bit 6a, a locking part 80 regulating the rotation of the receiving table during fastening, is provided, and upon finishing the fastening operation, the locking part 80 is moved so as to let the regulation be released, this constitution thereby allows the receiving table, that is, an union nipple 3 to be rotated by a specified angle to the rotational direction of the fastening bit 6a, and also allow the bite of the fastening bit 6a with the union nipple 3 to be resolved.
