PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording material of superior coloring properties and storage properties and also a heat-sensitive composition thereof. SOLUTION: A heat-sensitive coloring composition is composed of a development compound, a coloring compound reacted with the development compound under heating and colored and a polymer compound, all of which are dispersed in an organic solvent. The heat-sensitive coloring composition contains a 3- diethylamino-7-(m-trifluoromethylanilino)fluoran as the coloring compound, and one component selected out of a bis(3-allyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)sulfone, a 4, 4'- dihydroxydiphenylsulfone and a 2,4'-dihydroxydiphenylsulfone as the development compound, and also a compound represented by a formula (In the formula, R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom, R2 and R3 respectively and independently represent a hydrogen atom or a 1-10C alkyl or 10C or less alkoxy.). The heat-sensitive coloring composition is applied on a substrate and dried thereon to manufacture a heat-sensitive recording material. |
