SOLUTION: A dynamic pressure liquid bearing composed of a rotary shaft 1, a sleeve 2 having at least two herringbone grooves 2a, and oil 7 has the hardness of the peripheral surfaces of the herringbone grooves set 0.7 to 1 time as large as the hardness of the rotary shaft and also has the peripheral surfaces formed of electroless nickel plating layers.
